​I saw the lines during the grand opening and decided to wait for things to settle down (because who wants reduced quality when they're excited to eat?!). Well, I finally got my chance today, and OH BOY, was it worth the wait! ​This restaurant is officially a new favorite! ​ Beyond Impressive Experience ​From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch, friendly, and incredibly professional! Our waiter was a star, walking us through the menu and giving us fantastic recommendations for their most popular dishes. ​Here’s what we devoured: ​Appetizer Perfection: We started with the cucumber salad, and it was crisp, refreshing, and utterly delicious. ​The Signature Dish: You HAVE to try the soup dumplings! This is their popular dish for a reason. The stuffing was so tender, and the savory soup sealed inside was an absolute explosion of flavor—truly phenomenal! ​Main Event Magic: My wife and I split the Roast Duck Noodles. We ordered the regular size, which was huge (definitely going for the thin noodles next time!). The soup base struck the perfect balance with a subtle, yet satisfying, herbal taste that paired beautifully with the succulent roast duck. ​The flavors felt so authentic—it was a genuinely satisfying, unforgettable meal. We walked out absolutely stuffed and incredibly happy! Will definitely coming back to try out other dishes.

We’ve been looking forward to trying this place and it did not disappoint! The sliced pork on stir fry noodles was flavorful and did not skimp on veggies. Soup dumplings and scallion pancakes were perfect. And we also enjoyed trying something new - rougamo with seasoned beef. Recommend sharing as the portions are quite big. While we did not have a wait, some others after us had a ~10 minute wait (weekday evening). EXCELLENT staff who are attentive and helpful! Definitely will be going back to try more dishes!

I stopped by OX2 Buns and Noodles, and if you love authentic Chinese flavors, this place is a must-try! The spicy roast pork stir-fry noodles were full of rich flavor with just the right amount of heat. The scallion pancake beef roll was fresh, crispy, and packed with tender beef — definitely a standout. I finished with a red bean bun pastry that tasted homemade and comforting. Everything was delicious and felt truly authentic. If you’re looking for amazing Chinese food, you won’t be disappointed here!

Everything is handmade and is packed with amazing flavor. Their staff is incredibly attentive, helpful, and kind. The food is absolutely phenomenal! We went with a larger group and got to try several of their items and everything was a 10/10. We highly recommend their scallion pancake beef roll, soup dumplings, and any of their noodle dishes! Do yourself a favor and please give them a try! We promise you won’t regret it!

Every time I visit OX2 Buns & Noodles, I leave impressed. It’s easily one of the most memorable dining spots in Chattanooga for anyone who enjoys authentic Chinese cuisine. The restaurant has a comfortable and casual environment. It’s not overly fancy, but it feels warm and welcoming. Watching the chefs prepare noodles fresh in the kitchen window is a fun detail that adds to the overall experience. The service is friendly and attentive. The staff work hard to serve everyone quickly, especially since most of the food is prepared fresh to order. Even when it’s busy, they still do their best to check on customers and make sure everything tastes good. Overall, this restaurant offers a great balance of delicious food, welcoming service, and a lively atmosphere. It’s one of those places where you keep wanting to come back to try something new on the menu. I will definitely keep visiting regularly.

First off, expect to wait!! A place like this will have a wait. The food is some of the best in Tennessee. You can watch them hand pull the noodles, make all the dumplings fresh. Really, really great place!!

My wife and I have been to OX2 three times now. We’ve been there at multiple levels of busyness and have been exceedingly pleased with our experience each time. We have not attended with extreme frequency, yet the waitstaff distinctly remembered us somehow. The food is, of course, absolutely phenomenal and I won’t be saying anything that hasn’t already been said on that account. Last time we were there, I was invited to try the “Jason special” (ask for it if he’s there!) and it was a truly original flavoring I had never encountered. The atmosphere is so comfortable, despite the large volume of people they manage to serve. It feels like a truly communal space. Speed of service is always much quicker than I expect, especially of a made-in-house sort of place! The little window they have into the kitchen is also great fun if you’re the curious type. Watching noodles and dumplings be assembled is mesmerizing. If we lived any closer, I’m sure we’d be there more than any restaurant, as the prices for what you get are surprisingly low in times like these!

One cool feature is being able to see the noodles being prepared in the kitchen area, which adds to the authenticity of the experience. Overall, this place brings something unique to Chattanooga’s dining scene with its Northern Chinese style dishes and handmade noodles. I plan to visit at least once a week because it’s just that good.
